Mr. Pérez Duarte has more than 20 years of experience in financial accounting, which includes reporting, management, assurance services, accounting and consultancy of big and medium companies of the private sector in a variety of industries, including manufacture, services and trading companies.
Industry Specialization
Certified Public Accountant by th Mexican Chartered Accountants Institute since year 2008. Registered before the Tax and Social Security authorities to perform assurance processes to confirm proper compliance of applicable taxes & duties.
During years 2000 through 2006 his professional exercise was mainly on Assurance for Social Security compliance duties.
For years 2004 through 2009 was team leader for Financial Reports Audit as well as taxation reviews. VAT refund requests claims with clients in the Car dealership. Real state, Trade of FMCG’S on the towns of Puebla, Teziutlan and Córdoba in the Easter territory of Mexico and also in Mexico City.
Hired in year 2010 to Castillo Miranda (BDO Mexico) on the Business Services & Outsourcing area in the position of Manager. The responsibilities of such area involved dealing and communicating with Finance and Management staff of sundry countries and cultures from which the investments were made into Mexico in the form of subsidiaries up kept by the BSO area. Supported the Initial Set Up process of new Legal Entities, over viewing the Accounting, Tax Compliance, Payroll, Treasury and Guidance to clients on the day to day operations to accomplish Doing Business in Mexico.
Currently assigned on the yearly Training program of the Professional Staff. Assisting as listener of various relevant aspects. Key speaker for Tax, Legal, Financial Standards and Management seminars and workshops both for colleagues in the firm and clients.
Savy user on some information systems such as: SAP Business One, Hyperion Financial Management and JD Edwards Enterprise One.
Promoted to partner on Aug 2015. Mr. PérezDuarte has spent most of his professional career providing services to both national and international entities growing a large multicultural background and, enough English proficiency skills to help clients understand better the Mexican market interaction.
Brief experience on the legal ground as advisor on lawsuits and defense strategies against Tax Acts/Laws & Authorities.
