Jaime Zaga Hadid

Experience

Mr. Zaga has over 35 years of professional experience providing services to Mexican and international companies. During his trajectory, he held the position of Sub-administrator at the Tax Office and he later established his own accounting practice independently.

A partner since 1998, he currently acts as National Director of BDO in Mexico Tax Practice and Regional Head of Tax for the Latin America region.

He has a specialization in Transfer Pricing and he is in charge of this practice at BDO in Mexico. Jaime also provides tax assistance to clients of several industries.

Mr. Zaga is frequently quoted at newspaper and magazines referring tax issues, such as Vertigo, Milenio, Prontuario de Actualización Fiscal.

He was a member of the IMCP Representative Commission to Social Security Agencies. He was the CROSS liaison to Infonavit for the 2010-2011 biennium.

Competencies

In Transfer Pricing and Tax services, he has provided services to small, medium and large national and foreign companies, of public and private origin.

He has acted as an expert witness in controversy resolutions at the World Bank in Washington, DC.

He has been a frequent speaker in tax subjects at various, academic and professional forums.
